Who We Are

Building Bridges Between Faiths for a Sustainable Future

EcoUnity Initiative is a youth-led nonprofit organisation based in Taraba State, Nigeria. We believe that young people from every faith tradition share a common responsibility — and a unique power — to protect our planet and build peaceful communities.

Our Vision: People of different faiths, united for a peaceful and sustainable world.

Our Mission: Bringing young people of different faiths together to build peace and protect our planet.

We bring together Christians, Muslims, and practitioners of traditional faiths to collaborate on climate action, environmental education, and peacebuilding. Through dialogue workshops, tree-planting campaigns, school green clubs, and community projects, we are proving that shared values can unite us across differences.

Our Focus Areas

Where We Make a Difference

From interfaith dialogue to climate action, EcoUnity Initiative works across multiple fronts to create lasting impact.

🤝

Interfaith Dialogue

We facilitate conversations between young people of different faith traditions — Christian, Muslim, and traditional — building mutual understanding and reducing religious tensions in our communities.

🌍

Climate Action

Through tree planting, environmental cleanups, and awareness campaigns, we mobilise young people to take practical action against climate change in Taraba State and beyond.

🎓

Youth Leadership

We train and mentor young leaders with the skills, confidence, and networks they need to drive positive change in their communities and advocate for peace and sustainability.

☮️

Peacebuilding

Using dialogue, collaborative projects, and shared experiences, we help bridge divides between communities and create lasting peace in areas affected by conflict.

📚

Environmental Education

We bring climate and environmental education into schools through Green Clubs, interactive workshops, and hands-on learning experiences that inspire the next generation of eco-leaders.

🏘️

Community Engagement

We work directly with local communities — including religious leaders, traditional rulers, and youth groups — to co-create solutions that address both social and environmental challenges.
